I’m pretty proud of my dinner efforts last night.
This take on bruschetta was inspired by the best bruschetta I have ever had on the island of Ischia, Italy.
The heirloom tomatos (and bread) were purchased earlier in the day at my farmers market- $6.50 for 4?! I nearly died, but they were completely worth it.
edit: I nearly forgot the best part! The olive oil that I used was from the farm I worked on in Tuscany! It is, hands down, the best Olive Oil in the world??? And at $130 to ship home, the most expensive- a definite treat. Bellissima!
